The glamour and the gore

WE’RE acquiring fairly used to the boy/girl, loud/quiet moral force in rock 'n' roll music.

The Caucasian Stripes were belike the first. Then came The Kills. At once we stimulate
Brighton’s Profligate Red Place.

Steven Ansell (vocals and drums) and Laura-Mary Carter (vocals and guitars)
place most of the accent on loudly for their debut album Box Of Secrets.

Possibly there’s something in Brighton’s sea airwave that makes citizenry sound off up a
racket like these deuce.

Right back to when Pete Townshend sent his dysfunctional, drug-taking
antihero Jimmy on that point in Quadrophenia, it’s been a focal breaker point for bored
youth.
